Dr. Gregg Miller is currently Director of Nuclear Medicine and lead oncologic imager at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates (HVMA) and a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Boston University.  He completed a four-year radiology residency at Boston University and a one-year fellowship in Nuclear Medicine and Oncologic Imaging at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  He is dual board certified in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He gained expertise in oncologic imaging during his training at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, particularly in the areas of lung cancer, lymphoma and GIST tumors. For the past years, he has read PET and PET-CT scans for Boston Medical Center and Quincy Medical Center and currently reads several hundred oncologic examinations a month for HVMA. 

 

He participates in regular tumor board and radiology-pathology conferences at HVMA. He has expertise in the areas of CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and US. He has performed numerous image guided biopsies, particularly in the areas of lung, breast and renal malignancies. He has participated in close to a hundred phase II and III trials as an independent radiology reviewer and adjudicator and has extensive experience applying RECIST 1.0, 1.1, PCWG-2, PCWG-3 and RANO criteria for assessing disease response and Deuville/Lugano, PERCIST and IHP criteria in PET assessment of lymphoma. He has given invited talks nationally and internationally and he is a Co-founder and editor for Body MRI Section for ACR MRI Teaching File Project.
